KITZBÜHEL. The “Carabinieri” Alexander Linz and Michaela Beznaus missed out on a third consecutive title, but victory at the 35th Kitzbühel Alpine Rally still went to Austria. Georg Geyer and Günter Lippitsch from Vienna, driving a 1958 Porsche 356 Speedster, took their first overall Alpine Rally win after 586 kilometers over three stages and 33 special tests.
